Ikon in Northfield 2011–2014

A showcase of Ikon’s activity as Arts Champion for Northfield 2011–2014.

In March 2014 Ikon concludes its three year role as Birmingham City Council’s Arts Champion for Northfield and partner to Northfield Arts Forum (NAF). In a spirit of farewell, Ikon hosts a showcase surveying projects with a wide range of communities across the four wards of Weoley, Northfield, Longbridge and Kings Norton. The showcase includes original artworks and documentation from Ikon projects including Post Marks, Drawing Rooms, Portrait of Frankley and Explore Northfield. www.ikonnorthfield.org

From 2014 to 2017 Ikon will be Arts Champion for the Yardley district of Birmingham.

Arts Champions - Yardley (2014-2017)

Yardley 2014-2017 Ikon is the Arts Champion for Yardley, providing high quality arts activities for people from a wide range of communities in the four wards of Acocks Green, South Yardley, Sheldon, and Stechford and Yardley North. Prior to our new relationship with Yardley, Ikon spent three years as Arts Champions for Northfield and before that six years for Erdington, working with thousands of residents and local organisations.
