Remote Viewer – Graham Gussin in conversation

Remote Viewer (2001) is an iconic video work by renowned British artist Graham Gussin, in which a journey is made by the artist through a far-off landscape, paralleled by the efforts of a ‘remote viewer’ to locate him.

Looking back from a distance of more than ten years since the piece was first made, Gussin discusses its context and connections with his wider practice, in conversation with Ikon Director, Jonathan Watkins. This event is organised in collaboration with Film and Video Umbrella, and is part of the 25 Frames programme, marking the 25th anniversary of FVU as an independent organisation.

Places are free but should be booked online or call Ikon on 0121 248 0708. Please note that online booking closes at 5pm on Thursday 30 January.

Publications available from Ikon Shop: Graham Gussin Ikon catalogue priced £9.95 and Graham Gussin: Remote Viewer priced £9.99
