Ikon has two gallery floors available for hire, either separately or combined, offering a unique and inspiring atmosphere for events.
Gallery capacity – 250 standing / 100 seated per floor

Evening hire, double gallery (Mon-Sun) – from £2,600 + VAT

THE BOARD ROOM
The Board Room is a spacious meeting room with beautiful architectural features and an abundance of natural light – suitable for meetings, interviews and training sessions, with access to a large LCD screen for presentations if required. Room hire includes Wi-Fi plus complimentary tea and coffee facilities.
Room capacity – 12 seated
Half day (Weds-Fri) – £220 + VAT
Full day (Weds-Fri) – £350 + VAT
WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
Ikon’s spaces are versatile for all styles of event and can be tailored to your unique requirements. Our team are on hand to help you plan and organise your event from staff away days to seated dinners and presentations.
Ikon can arrange activities such as creative workshops, artist’s talks and live music that will help make your guests’ time at the gallery memorable.
With unique architecture and bright spaces Ikon’s galleries lend themselves well for photography.

THE EVENTS ROOM
Ikon’s Events Room is an ideal space for smaller, more intimate, events. With large windows and projection facilities the room can host workshops, seminars and panel talks, meetings, presentations and drinks receptions.
Room hire includes Wi-Fi.
Room capacity – 60 standing / 45 seated
Half day (Weds-Sun) – £325 + VAT
Full day (Weds-Sun) – £475 + VAT
THE LIBRARY
The Library is a smart boardroom housing some of Ikon’s library of art and historial reference books – perfect for meetings, interviews and training sessions, with a large LCD screen available to use.
Room hire includes Wi-Fi plus complimentary tea and coffee facilities.
Room capacity – 10 seated
Half day (Weds-Fri) – £180 + VAT
Full day (Weds-Fri) – £290 + VAT
CATERING
Yorks Café at Ikon has a unique offering for all styles of events from exclusive dinners
and drinks receptions in the galleries to street-food style service. Their award-winning menus include seasonal sharing boards, hot and cold canapés, and excellent vegetarian and vegan options.
Artisan sandwich platters, teas and coffees, and homemade cakes can be served for your guests directly to Ikon’s Meeting Room or Events Room.

Alternative catering can be used, subject to agreement with Ikon.
