Spring Printmaking Day at Ikon
Celebrate the arrival of spring and the cherry blossom with a creative day of printmaking and outdoor art at Ikon.
Ikon is a family-friendly gallery offering a range of free activities aimed at families and young visitors. The gallery houses a café, shop, baby changing facilities and a lift to all floors.

FAMILY SATURDAYS
Creative family events take place on the first Saturday of each month, inspired by Ikon’s exhibitions. Please see listings below for details or visit our What’s On page.
ACTIVITY PACKS
Ikon’s activity packs (Key Stages 1-3) are free to download. For the current pack we ask you to answer some very short questions. Activity packs for past exhibitions also available.

Guided by artists and tutors from Sundragon Community Pottery in Balsall Heath, participants will explore a variety of hand‑building techniques and discover creative ways to work with the ancient medium of ceramics.

Join Jessica Ostrowicz, Ikon Artist in Residence at HMP Spring Hill, for a family workshop inspired by the way birds build their nests using materials from their immediate surroundings. Mirroring Ostrowicz’s coproduced exhibition Time and Time Again.
