Ikon presented a number of works by Birmingham-based artist Ivan Morison during the spring and summer of 2002. They included Colours and Sounds in Ivan Morison’s Garden, Spring 2002 (Ikon Tower, 17 April – 4 June 2002), a video portrait of the artist as naked gardener, Open Days at Garden 114 (Guinea Gardens, Birmingham, May) during which the artist discussed with visitors his horticultural successes and failures, and Flower Stall (Oozells Square, Brindleyplace, May – August) a real market stall from which he sold a range of colourful flowers.
