Artists’ talk: Bill Woodrow and Richard Deacon
Artists Bill Woodrow and Richard Deacon discuss their current Ikon exhibition of “shared drawings”, resulting from a process of back-and-forth exchange during 2019-2020. They reflect on their choice of subjects and materials and how this is influenced by a mutual concern for and admiration of the natural environment.
The talk will be chaired by Natalie Rudd, an independent curator and writer specialising in modern and contemporary British art. She is also a Midlands4Cities PhD candidate in Art History at the University of Birmingham.
