Galleries Night and Art Bus
5–9pm, free
Travel on the free Art Bus and visit five of Birmingham’s top art galleries. Climb on board the bus to see Ikon Gallery, the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, RBSA Gallery, mac Birmingham and Eastside Projects, Digbeth. Each gallery stays open late, offering free guided tours and refreshments.
20 minute exhibition tours at 5.30pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm
All buses travel along the route: mac, Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Ikon, RBSA, Eastside Projects. Buses continue in a circular motion along the advertised route. You can start and finish your journey at any venue. It may not be possible to visit all galleries in one evening, but don’t worry – the Art Bus will return in December. Depending on your final destination, you may have to board a bus before 9pm to get to your desired location.
