Half Term Art Explorer
Join artist-educator Sarah Hamilton-Baker as she leads families on a creative trail through Ikon’s exhibition Friends in Love and War – L’Éloge des meilleur·es ennemi·es.
This interactive experience encourages families and younger visitors to explore art and ideas together. Use your detective skills to discover new artworks and investigate details throughout the exhibition, while enjoying drawing, collage and mini-modelling activities.
The sessions take place through the day and showcase how Ikon’s free resources, including Art Explorer guides and Bloomberg audio content, plus our friendly team, can help expand the gallery experience for visitors.
This event is supported by the Grantham Yorke Trust.
Friends in Love and War – L’Éloge des meilleur·es ennemi·es is supported by the British Council and is presented as part of UK/France Spotlight on Culture 2024 Together We Imagine, with additional support from Fluxus Art Projects and Birmingham City University.
