Ikon have collaborated with Oliver Beer and 2,500 children from across Birmingham aged 0-13 to re-draw frames from Walt Disney’s 1967 film The Jungle Book to realise a new artwork, Reanimation (I Wan’na Be Like You) (2017). This showcase celebrates the achievements of each child who took part in the project, inviting visitors to view a range of the frames created, each unique and different in style.

The following nurseries, children’s centres and schools have been involved in the Reanimation (I Wan’na Be Like You) project: Allens Croft Children’s Centre, Brownmead Primary Academy, Gossey Lane Academy, Hillstone Primary School, Hodge Hill Girl’s School, Lillian de Lissa Nursery School and Children’s Centre, The Nest Nursery, Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School, Selly Park Technology College for Girls, St George’s Church of England Primary School.
