Vanley Burke, born in Jamaica in 1951, resident in Birmingham since 1965, is renowned as a photographer concerned especially with black culture in Britain.

A unique opportunity to work alongside photographer Vanley Burke, learn about black and white photography plus darkroom developing techniques. This two day course explores themes inspired by his current Ikon exhibition and is suitable for adults, especially teachers and students of art. Please bring a 35mm camera. All film materials are provided.
