Shannon Thomson
Join artist-educator Shannon Thomson for an informal discussion about arts education and to explore Birmingham School of Art’s past and present through collage making.
This event is part of Ways of Sharing, an arts education laboratory produced in collaboration with students completing an MA in Arts and Education Practices at Birmingham City University. Presented as part of Melati Suryodarmo’s exhibition Passionate Pilgrim (17 May – 3 September 2023), it responds to the artist’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of artistic practice and building networks. Through collective dialogue, events explore ways of sharing arts education practices in public settings and how informal learning can occur in these spaces.
