Ikon presents installation by artist Shelagh Wakely. A tracery of bronze powder – a gleaming carpet of gold – spans the gallery floor. A beautiful glass bowl held within it the illusion of liquid gold. Wakely’s installation Gold Dust is an unashamedly sensual and aesthetic tease. Its poignancy momentary gust of wind could take all the beauty away.
