Originally shown at Kettles Yard, this exhibition coincides with the publication of Volume II of Black Athena by Martin Bernal. Its objective is to increase awareness of the way’s history has been constructed to legitimise the self-appointed superiority of the Westerner over Black and Asian peoples. This exhibition has a specific relevance to each of the towns it visited – Cambridge, Birmingham and Derry. This is the first time that all four of these artists had been shown in Britain.
Touring exhibition organised by Kettles Yard.
