Ikon presents group exhibition which examines the freedom, confusion, boredom, anger, frustration and fun of adolescence. Whether through the epic panorama of Seamus Nicolson’s rave photographs, the teenage angst meets Stepford Wives scenarios of Sarah Jones pictures, James Rielly’s comic grotesques, or the street ‘Spice Girls’ in Clare Strand’s work – this exhibition gives a glimpse of a unique state of mind. Reawakening the traumas, enjoyment and obsessions that are uniquely adolescent, experienced by all, forgotten by no-one.
