Black Country Voyages at Pelsall North Common
By Pia, Learning Intern
Last weekend, Black Country Voyages made its way to Pelsall North Common in Walsall. It started out as a bright summer day full of painting, drawing and clay making.
Using the flowers and natural growth found all around the common as a source of inspiration, families learned how to draw with carbon paper to create an outline and then, using watercolour, fill in their drawings. We also used clay to press some flowers and create clay pebbles for families to take home.
It was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon and a great way for the community to come together! Unfortunately the rain came in the afternoon, but the boat kept everyone nice and dry!
