Black Country Voyages
Black Country Voyages (2014–2017) is an off-site project involving the Ikon Youth Programme (aka IYP).

Black Country Voyages is developed by Ikon out of Slow Boat (2011–2013), an art programme for local young people, aged 15–19 years old, on board a canal boat. Continuing our pioneering work on Britain’s inland waterways, it comprises workshops, live performances and exhibitions, engaging with audiences along the way. Ikon has commissioned Juneau Projects as lead artists for 2014; inspired by nature and its interaction with society they will transform the interior and exterior of the boat.
