Aged 18-25, unemployed and want to get into creative employment? Come and find out more at the Get into Creative Employment Fair 2014, 10am-1pm on Saturday 25 January at The Birmingham Rep Theatre, Centenary Square, Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 3AH.
Creative Alliance has brought together 15 arts and cultural organisations from across Birmingham to offer over 30 Apprenticeships and paid Internships. Ikon is recruiting for an Events Coordinator (Paid Internship, 6 months, part time), visit our stand at the Fair to find out more and have an informal chat with Ikon staff.
Based in Birmingham, Creative Alliance works to enable talent to get into and get on in the creative and cultural industries. The Creative Employment Programme is a £15m fund to support the creation of traineeships, formal apprenticeships and paid internship opportunities in England for young unemployed people wishing to pursue a career in the arts and cultural sector. Young people attending the event on 25 January can find out about the jobs available in theatre, dance, art, music and craft, the recruitment process and gain advice on how to apply as well as take part in CV and portfolio surgeries.
