Ikon50 People’s Archive

As part of Ikon’s 50th anniversary celebrations we host a special day looking back at the last five decades. We would love to hear from anyone who might like to share their memories of Ikon. You may recall our first exhibition opening in the Bullring in 1965, or the bombing in 1974 or when the gallery opened its doors in Brindleyplace in 1998, or perhaps Ikon was the backdrop to your own personal event. Drop in to share your memories, stories, photos or memorabilia. This day is organised in collaboration with archive staff from the Library of Birmingham.
