More Birmingham Instameet

On Saturday 6 June Ikon took part in an Instameet organised by Visit Birmingham and Hidden Spaces. Over 100 people attended the event which was led by members of Hidden Spaces – a Birmingham-based project run by Associated Architects which aims to share Birmingham’s diverse architectural history and the secrets behind the facades.

We visited some amazing spaces such as the Municipal Bank, The Council House, an abandoned WWII mortuary under Birmingham’s Council House and lots more. It was great to explore the hidden gems of Birmingham and to learn the history behind the spaces.
